In a vibrant celebration of collaboration and educational excellence, the City Schools Division of Tayabas held its most anticipated event of the year—the Division Education Summit Cum Ika-10 Piging ng Pasasalamat on December 4, at M.I. Sevilla Resort and Hotel, Brgy. Domoit, Lucena City. The summit brought together educators, community leaders, and partners under the theme “Bayanihan para sa dekalidad na edukasyon ng Batang Tayabasin.” Dressed in elegant Barong and Modern Filipiniana, guests pledged their continued support for the division’s transformative programs. The spotlight shone brightest on the stakeholder awardees—local government units, private partners, NGOs, PTAs, and community volunteers—whose unwavering commitment elevated the quality of education across Tayabas. Their contributions, from infrastructure support to mentorship initiatives, were honored with heartfelt tributes and tokens of appreciation. The event pulsed with pride, gratitude, and renewed energy, setting the tone for even greater collaboration in the years ahead. The event was not only a celebration of achievements but also a powerful gathering of voices that underscored the collective mission of uplifting education. The event opened with a stirring message from the Schools Division Superintendent, Celedonio B. Balderas Jr., who emphasized that every milestone reached by the division was made possible through the spirit of bayanihan. In his speech, he highlighted the crucial role of stakeholders—local government units, private partners, NGOs, PTAs, and volunteers—calling them “the lifeblood of our programs” and urging everyone to continue their unwavering support for the Batang Tayabasin. Guest speakers echoed this sentiment, weaving their words with gratitude and inspiration. Local government representatives spoke of their commitment to sustaining infrastructure projects and policies that ensure inclusive learning opportunities. Other partners remain steadfast in supporting the division. Meanwhile, Joan Kathleen Talabong, the Program Focal Person, awarded Ilasan Integrated School as the Highest Brigada Eskwela Implementer. The summit concluded with a Pledge of Support Ceremony, where attendees signed their commitment to continue backing the division’s initiatives. One participant summed up the spirit of the day: “This is not just a thanksgiving—it is a promise to keep moving forward together.”
