SDO Tayabas City holds Capability Building on Action Research Writing

 With the aim of strengthening research culture and reviving teacher-researcher organization in the division, SDO Tayabas City conducted its two-day Capability Building on Action Research Writing at Queen Margarette Hotel, Lucena City, December.12-13, 2024. Participants in the said activity were School Research Coordinators, School Research Committee Members, the Association of Researchers in SDO Tayabas City (ART), School Heads and members of the Schools Division Research Committee. The messages given by SDS Celedonio B. Balderas Jr. and ASDS Herbert D. Perez both resonated the relevance of research in the field as its outputs provide evidence-based decision-making, improve mechanisms in the organization and reinforce links with the education processes. Resource Persons/Facilitators of the sessions were Ms. Regicelle D. Cabaysa, OIC-SEPS; Dr. Ma. Aillen A. Averilla, ART President; Ms. Maricel L. Abella, ART Vice President; Mr. Marvin J. Rosales, LPIHS-Research Coordinator; Dr. Montano L. Agudilla, SEPS; and Dr. Mikael Sandino T. Andrey, EPS. The two-day activity was anchored on DepEd Order No. 16, s. 2017, titled Research Management Guidelines, Division Memorandum No. 417, s. 2024 titled Revised Division Research Management Guidelines, and SDO Tayabas City’s Program CREST - Collaboration for Research Empowerment, Sustainability and Transformation, a planning and research program that introduces research strategies and institutionalizes projects and activities in the division and school-level to further strengthen research culture and support the continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.
